He talks a lot about environmental problems including the effects of
climate change in his book 'The Long Emergency'. He thinks things like
water and food shortages may very well become the norm in the decades
ahead. He suggests moving to a place where you have good access to

Freaking brilliant. And horrifically sad.
The one thing he left out was environmental degradation, which is
creeping along in third but far more dangerous, IMO. But, bright side

I don't think of them as credit - more like a quick/fairly safe way to
pay for stuff and a month to actually make the payment. :)
The bad part is that they raise the price of the goods you buy due to
the fees they charge the seller and the losses due to fraud. :(
